FAQs
How do I become a Big Woof! client?
If you’re interested in joining the Big Woof! pack, the first step is to set up an appointment for a brief phone call to discuss the service you’re seeking. Then we will set up a 30-minute meet-and-greet at your home to get acquainted with you and your pet, go over any important information, and answer any more questions you might have.
What is required for my dog to go on Group Adventure Hikes?
Your pup must have a valid rabies vaccine certificate and must be up-to-date on distemper and other shots. Group walk pups must also have a generally sociable temperament and play well with other dogs and people. Good recall and low prey drive is preferred but not required.
How long can I expect my dog to be away on Group Adventure Hikes?
Dogs are picked up from your home, brought to the trail, and returned home blissed out and tired within 1.5-3 hours.
Where will my dog be hiking?
Pups will get to explore the wealth of Oakland’s natural spaces, such as Anthony Chabot Park, Leona Canyon, Knowland Park, and Redwood Regional Park, to name a few.
